This is how the Boomerang Bounce Back App works:

  1. Click anywhere on the page. (You must interact with the website. For example, click on the background, accept the cookies or go to a subpage).
  2. Then, click the back button in your browser. (INTERACT FIRST, see first setp!)
  3. You will be redirected to the redirect page – a page you can design exactly how you want (Use a custom page).

Important: This app only works on desktop. It does not work on mobile with iPhone or Safari.

How exactly does Boomerang work?

Boomerang detects when a visitor is about to leave your store – for example, by clicking the browser's back button. Instead of leaving, the visitor is automatically redirected to a conversion-optimized landing page.

What does the landing page look like?

It's a custom page within your Shopify theme. You can create it with one click inside the app or design it entirely yourself. We provide you with a working section – you simply replace the text, images, and links. It takes less than 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can link to an existing landing page in the settings.
